About Us
Killarney P-10 State School is a calm country school with 130 students from Prep to Year 10. Killarney is located less than 200km south‐west of Brisbane in the rolling foothills of the Outstanding Dividing Range. Our school has a picturesque outlook, fabulous well‐maintained facilities and a supportive community. Warwick, the administrative centre of the Southern Downs Region, is less than 30 minutes drive.
About the Role
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school programme to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
