About the Role
Join the College of Medicine and Public Health as a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education (Health Professions Accreditation Lead), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of health education.
This teaching specialist position focuses on delivering excellence in medical and bioscience education, leading accreditation processes, and fostering innovation in curriculum design and teaching practices.
You will support educators, contribute to strategic educational leadership, and ensure compliance with national standards, all while enhancing student success and graduate outcomes.
Lead accreditation activities for medical or related degree programs, including report writing and standards implementation.
Design and deliver engaging, student-centred teaching across medical and bioscience topics.
Provide educational leadership, mentoring, and support for academic staff in quality assurance and curriculum development.
Contribute significantly to university service, including committee leadership and external professional engagement.
About You
You are a passionate educator with a strong foundation in health professions and a commitment to excellence in teaching and accreditation.
With proven leadership in curriculum innovation and quality assurance, you bring a student-centred approach and a collaborative mindset to academic development and service.
PhD or equivalent in a relevant health discipline, with tertiary education qualifications highly desirable.
Demonstrated excellence in tertiary teaching, curriculum design, and course coordination.
Proven experience in accreditation processes and educational quality assurance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with leadership in professional and community engagement.
