Food and Beverage Supervisor
A successful Food and Beverage Supervisor is required to lead a team in the operation of a luxury hotel's food and beverage outlet. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a small team, motivating staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Job Description:
The role involves planning, coordinating, and controlling the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage outlet. This includes welcoming guests, acknowledging them with a smile and friendly verbal greeting, and engaging them in conversation regarding their stay and property services. The supervisor will also be responsible for communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.
The supervisor will assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model and departmental mentor. They will collaborate with management to formally recognize hourly employees' performance contributions and assist in establishing and communicating goals, performance expectations, timetables, and deadlines for shift or departmental operations.
The supervisor will have proven ability and experience in motivating, mentoring, and managing a small team. They will have specialized knowledge of beverage procedures and methods used in the management of an F&B outlet. Professional experience of 2 years running an exclusive food and beverage outlet, and experience in implementing procedures and training staff, is essential.
