Key Island Security Position
The purpose of the Key Island Security position is to contribute to a secure and safe environment for guests, staff, and assets at Hamilton Island. Primary duties involve conducting regular security patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing policies, and providing emergency assistance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform security checks around the island and respond promptly to any security incidents
* Support crowd management and collaborate with departmental managers during peak periods
* Maintain order in traffic situations, including accidents and breakdowns
* Respond to alarm activations, lockouts, lost property reports, and other emergencies
* Conduct alcohol and drug testing according to HIE policy requirements
* Act as a first responder for medical emergencies and critical situations
* Keep records of on-call personnel and handle after-hours issues
* Support administrative tasks and maintain communication logs
* Promote compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
