About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity within Esperance Home Care for a Meal Service Administrator/Cook. To coordinate and oversee the Esperance Home Care meal service. Our meal service provides meals for the 5 day per week Meals on Wheels service and for the groups in the centre. Centre catering can be for morning and/or afternoon tea as well as lunches when the group is in the centre.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee the Administration processes of the Esperance HomeCare Meal Service.
* Maintain a financially sound Meal Service programme.
* Liaise and coordinate supply and delivery of goods with suppliers ensuring they comply with the requirements of the Esperance Home Care Food Safety Program.
This is a permanent part time, working a minimum of 19.5 hours per week. Note that this position will be required to provide leave coverage as needed.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
* Qualifications relevant to the hospitality industry such as Food Safety Supervision Skill Set and/or demonstrated experience in coordinating a food service.
* Experience in the supervision of staff.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service delivery and the ability to work cooperatively to meet client requirements.
Hourly Rate: $37.24
Permanent staff are entitled to:
* 5 weeks annual leave per year
* Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
* Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of 5%
