We're partnering with a
leading organisation in the energy and infrastructure sector
to appoint a
Cyber Security Engineer
with exposure across both
IT and Operational Technology (OT)
environments.
This is a hands-on technical role supporting the protection of corporate systems and critical operational assets, working closely with internal stakeholders and external security partners.
Responsibilities
:
* Manage and maintain cyber security controls across
IT and OT networks
* Monitor cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents, acting as a key technical contact for an external
Security Operations Centre (SOC)
* Support security architecture reviews for new projects and capital works
* Support firewall configuration, patching, and vulnerability management
* Support the ongoing development and uplift of cyber security standards, policies and procedures
About you:
* 3+ years' experience in cyber security, infrastructure security or network security roles
* Experience interfacing across a CSF aligned with AESCSF and the SOCI act
* Hands-on experience across
IT security
, with exposure to
OT / industrial environments
highly regarded
* Pragmatic, hands-on mindset with a strong problem-solving approach
Familiarity with
:
* Firewalls and network security principles
* Cloud environments (e.g. Azure, M365 security controls)
* Industrial or critical infrastructure environments (desirable)
