About the Role
* The District Management Accountant reports directly to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, contributing significantly to meeting financial management obligations and implementing efficient finance systems.
The role requires providing high-level management expertise in relation to financial, budget, activity, and management accounting. This includes ensuring effective utilisation of resources within a changing environment for the hospital network.
In this challenging role, you will support provision of financial oversight by managing budget systems, reporting on FTEs (Full-Time Equivalent), NWAU (National Weighted Activity Unit) & activity performance metrics. Additionally, you will manage revenue streams and efficiency improvement plans. Your work will also involve Ministry reporting system management.
