Mental Health Support Worker Role
About This Opportunity:
This role is ideal for someone passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals with minor and complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will have experience in mental health or a related field and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
We are seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to provide support within the home, involving Community Access, for an adult requiring assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients with mental health needs.
* To collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to achieve individualised goals and outcomes.
* To maintain accurate records and report any concerns or issues promptly.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A current resume and 2 professional referees.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer) - if supporting U18.
* Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001).

Available Shifts: Monday - Saturday between 10am and 6pm (4 hours)
Remuneration Rate: Minimum starting rate $35.30 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends, and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).
