The Opportunity
Join our DAF Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager – DAF to provide a vital link between our dealer truck sales network and PACCAR Australia.
You will report to the General Manager DAF Trucks and develop strong relationships with dealer personnel, customers, suppliers, industry bodies and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and review sales plans for dealerships
2. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports
3. Generate truck sales through program development and strategy implementation
4. Support training and coaching of dealership staff
5. Collaborate with dealers to improve sales performance
6. Represent PACCAR at trade shows as required
7. Motivate dealers to utilize sales tools and promotions
About You
We seek a business leader with:
1. Experience in heavy capital equipment/machinery sales and a strong understanding of the business-to-business sales process
2. Commercial acumen and finance skills, including knowledge of various financing methods
3. Tertiary qualification in business or a related field, and experience in heavy vehicle sales (desirable)
4. Knowledge of PACCAR products, industry and market trends, and relevant laws
5. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills
6. Strong relationship building, communication and presentation skills
7. Sales and forecasting experience
