This position plays a vital role in enhancing the NSW Government's cyber resilience and response capabilities. As part of Cyber Security NSW, you will collaborate with various agencies to develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies. Your contributions will help safeguard the state's digital information and systems against potential breaches and disruptions.
Your key responsibilities will involve:
* Supporting the NSW Chief Cyber Security Officer and other senior leaders in managing and leading the NSW Government during significant cyber incidents or crises.
* Developing and implementing effective cyber incident response plans that align with state and national protocols.
* Liaising with various stakeholders, including technical and non-technical personnel, to ensure collaboration, coordination, and synergy among agencies.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills, experience in state and federal cyber security policies and frameworks, and the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent industry experience is also required. Furthermore, the candidate must be an Australian Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a NV1 National Security Clearance, and undergo a police check.
