This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills in administrative responsibilities, stock inventory management and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S).
Role Overview:
As a Store person – Administrator Officer, you'll receive hands-on training and guidance to manage key operational areas, with a specific focus on stock inventory management and ensuring compliance with OH&S protocols. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility while making a direct impact on the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Duties: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling, document management, invoicing, debtor & creditor reporting and communication across departments.
* Stock Inventory Management: Assist in the management of stock levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Learn to optimize inventory systems and processes to maintain smooth operations.
* OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety): Ensure the health and safety of all team members by learning and assisting in the implementation of OH&S protocols. Participate in safety audits, training, and risk assessments.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior managers to gain insights and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the business.
* Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training and mentoring to enhance your managerial and operational skills.
Skills & Qualifications:
* A passion for learning and growing within a managerial role.
* Basic understanding or willingness to learn about stock inventory systems.
* Awareness of Occupational Health & Safety regulations or an interest in gaining knowledge in this area.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred (but not required):
* MBA Student or wishing to take on course.
* Previous exposure to stock inventory and or OH&S compliance.
