Staff Development Nurse – Permanent – Part Time (72 hours fortnightly) at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Nedlands.

Salary: $109,599 – $115,682 pro rata.
About the Role
As a Staff Development Nurse (SDN), you will provide professional, clinical and emotional support to Newly Qualified Nurses (NQNs) across the hospital and partnership sites.
You will plan, deliver and evaluate formal education and training programmes, ensuring a smooth and confident transition for nurses into professional practice.
Working closely with the NQN team, the Centre for Nursing Education and key stakeholders, you will contribute to a high-quality service that fosters growth and confidence in our nursing workforce.
The role may also involve supporting other SDN responsibilities within the department to meet service needs.
Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and evaluate formal education and training programmes for NQNs.
Provide professional, clinical and emotional support to NQNs during transition to independent practice.
Collaborate with the NQN team, Centre for Nursing Education and other stakeholders.
Support additional SDN roles across the department as required.

Qualifications & Experience
Registered Nurse with RN Level 2 accreditation.
Experience in nursing education, clinical teaching or a similar role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
