How you will make contributions that matter:
Join our team at the ILC in Laverton as aMaintenance Technician, where you'll play a key role in maintaining site reliability, safety, and performance in a fast-paced 24/5 operation.
This hands-on role involves general maintenance across infrastructure and vehicles, supporting contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with safety systems. You'll work closely with the Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to contribute to keeping the site running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
* Perform general maintenance across site infrastructure and vehicles
* Respond to work orders and carry out planned and scheduled maintenance tasks
* Ensure compliance with safety systems including LOTO and Permit-to-Work
* Support contractor activities and ensure work is completed to standard
* Provide skilled labour support across a wide scope of tasks
* Be available for occasional weekend work and infrequent on-call coverage
* Promote a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
About you
* Industrial maintenance experience preferred
* Dual trade qualifications will be highly regarded
* Forklift licence (required)
* Experienced with power tools and general maintenance equipment
* Experience with concrete work, line-marking, door repairs, wall lining
* Strong understanding of WHS, LOTO, and permit systems
* A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance and safety
