About Us:
We are a market leader in insurance building in Australia. We have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage for 40 years.
The primary objective of a Project Coordinator is to ensure quality and timely project delivery. This involves creating project schedules, repair methodology, compliance requirements and cost effective budget control for clients.
* Consistent and accurate administration and project management of allocated jobs.
* Organisation, scheduling and budgeting of allocated projects working with key stakeholders, supervisors, contractors and suppliers.
* Cost management and cost control of all contractor and supplier invoices.
* Strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames.
* Liaising with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates.
* Promoting a safe and WHS compliant workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in domestic and commercial construction project management (highly desirable).
* Thorough understanding of the construction process, methodology, critical inspection points, required statutory compliance and WHS compliance.
* Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation.
* Track record of establishing and maintaining long term relationships/accounts.
