About the Role
Juniper is seeking an experienced and motivated Rostering Manager to oversee our organisation‐wide rostering services. This key leadership role ensures our sites and services are staffed effectively, efficiently and in line with aged care, operational and regulatory requirements.
You will lead the Rostering Specialists and After‐Hours team, build capability, support system improvement, and provide critical workforce insights that help shape our future workforce needs.
In this role, you will:
* Oversee daily rostering operations, ensuring timely vacancy coverage and proactive leave planning
* Build strong relationships with operational leaders and support safe, compliant staffing across all sites
* Lead, coach and develop the rostering team to deliver consistent, customer‐focused service.
* Monitor agency usage and support roving workforce deployment
* Identifying opportunities to streamline rostering workflows, strengthen consistency, and enhance service quality across all sites
* Provide regular reporting on shift coverage, agency use, overtime and staffing risks
* Analyse rostering data and support workforce planning and recruitment forecasting
* Act as a system super‐user, partnering with ICT to ensure our rostering system functions reliably
* Supporting broader workforce initiatives, change management, and alignment with staffing models and workforce strategy
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Fair Work, legislation and Juniper policies
You will bring:
* Qualifications in Leadership & Management, Business, HR or Workforce Planning
* Strong knowledge of rostering systems, awards, EBAs and compliance requirements
* Experience leading rostering or scheduling teams in a complex environment
* Background in aged care, disability or health (highly regarded)
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills
* Data‐driven approach with the ability to identify risks and support workforce planning
* Highly organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively
* National Police Clearance and driver's licence required

* Competitive salary starting from $134,550 + 12% superannuation
