Communications Director Role
The role of Communications Director is critical to the success of our organization. This position plays a vital part in shaping and protecting our corporate reputation, enhancing our profile among industry associations, media, and other influential organizations.
We are seeking an experienced Communications Director who can lead the development and execution of strategic communication programs across various areas, including brand/therapeutic area communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, and issues management.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ANZ market, strong cross-functional working skills, and the ability to influence senior leaders in other functions to achieve corporate goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
This role requires excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with senior management and high-profile experts confidently and effectively.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for developing and strengthening key relationships with community advocates, organizations, and professionals, as well as championing patient engagement in appropriate cross-functional projects.
As a member of our leadership team, this individual will be expected to contribute to the achievement of our organizational objectives and participate in regular meetings and updates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic communication programs across various areas, including brand/therapeutic area communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, and issues management.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with community advocates, organizations, and professionals, as well as champion patient engagement in appropriate cross-functional projects.
* Contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives and participate in regular meetings and updates.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product PR, media, and advocacy in ANZ.
* Strong understanding of the ANZ market, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to interact with senior management and high-profile experts confidently and effectively.
* Experience in managing budgets and resources efficiently.
