As a Specialist in General Medicine, you will provide medical care to community consumers experiencing significant mental health and addiction challenges. Your role will involve contributing to all aspects of General Medicine clinical service.
Requirements
* You must be a legally qualified medical practitioner, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on your clinical practice.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians is required.
* Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in General Medicine are necessary.
* Experience in addiction medicine is favoured.
* You must meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in General Medicine.
* Ongoing communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills, are essential.
* You should be able to liaise well with other staff at all levels.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/other teams.
