About Our Client
A proud Australian business, our client is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and works within the resources services space. Due to company growth, the business is now seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen its reporting function.
Job Description
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the key duties of this role will include:
Preparing and compiling ASX reporting
Support group consolidation process
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Preparing group statutory reporting obligations
Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information
Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic financial decision-making
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
CA or CPA qualification (required)
Prior experience working within an ASX-listed environment (required)
Mining industry experience (desired)
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
