Structural Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for undertaking structural engineering design from concept to detailed under supervision.
You will work largely on the design of building structures but also have the opportunity to work on maritime and civil structures. Your responsibilities will also include undertaking site visits during the design and construction phases, completing condition assessments and reporting on building structures, coordinating with external design teams, and maintaining client relationships.
About the Role:
* Undertake structural engineering design from concept to detailed under supervision.
* Work largely on the design of building structures but also have the opportunity to work on maritime and civil structures.
* Undertake site visits during the design and construction phases.
* Complete condition assessments and report on building structures.
* Coordinate with external design teams.
* Maintain client relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Approximately 3-8 years of local consulting experience.
* The ability to work and coordinate with external design team members and clients.
* Time management skills and agility to work across several projects at once.
* Experience in the design of a range of building structures.
* Experience in undertaking condition assessments of building structures.
* Ability or willingness to assist in the preparation of fee proposals.
* A good knowledge of using Bluebeam, Spacegass, and RAPT.
* Exposure to RAM Concept, RCB, and ETABS.
