About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts across key sectors. As a strategic business developer, you'll identify, engage, and secure high-value clients by:
* Building and managing a qualified sales pipeline through market research and engagement with key decision makers;
* Developing tailored value propositions and coordinating site visits, presentations, and client meetings;
* Maintaining strong market awareness, competitor insights, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
You'll work closely with sector leads to align strategies and client outreach, contributing to sector-specific value propositions, best practice solutions, and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Strategic business development: identifying and engaging high-value or strategic new clients aligned with our growth strategy;
* Bid and solution development: working with bid, pricing, and legal teams to develop commercially viable and compelling client proposals;
* Sector expertise and collaboration: partnering with sector leads to align strategies and client outreach, contributing to sector-specific value propositions, best practice solutions, and innovation initiatives;
* Client management: maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on pipeline performance, market insights, and competitor intelligence.

* A consultative sales approach with a focus on problem-solving and solution delivery;
* Commercially strategic mindset with a proactive, collaborative style;
* Strong attention to detail and ability to build trust and rapport quickly;
* Skilled in writing, presenting, and influencing at senior levels;
* Proven ability to negotiate, manage risk, and close opportunities effectively;
* Proficient in CRM and project management tools, plus the Microsoft Suite.
The ideal candidate will be a proven success in complex, multi-site or integrated solution environments, with strong commercial acumen and experience in solution design, bid development, contract reviews, and pricing.
Requirements

* Have a current Driver's Licence;
* Be able to obtain a National Police Check;
* Be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
