**The Opportunity**
On behalf of a Federal Government Agency based in Richmond or Geelong, we are looking for EL1 Service Designer. This is a 12-month assignment. The role will paying $602.55 per day plus super.
The EL1 Service Designer is a leadership role working in participant experience design Division.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Research and identify insights, creating a common understanding.
- Co-create and document current state service through design research, to identify current participant and staff experience, and business processes.
- Co-create and facilitate process design improvements.
- Facilitate design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test the future service (processes, channels, experiences)
- Ensure that the end-to-end service experience is based around the user, in line with the Digital Service Standards and is consistent for all users across different touch-points.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.
- Provides assistance to the Product Owner as required.
**To be considered you will demonstrate**:
- Proven experience in a similar role, working on, multidisciplinary teams across varied skill-sets.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying information to the stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the disability or public sector would be advantageous.
