A leading boutique property group with a substantial commercial portfolio is seeking an experienced Commercial Trust Accountant to join their high-performing team. Known for their professional culture, long-standing client relationships, and exceptional internal systems, the business is expanding and has created this new opportunity within their finance function.
Responsible for Trust Accounting for theircommercial tenancies under management, this is an ideal role for someone looking for stability, flexibility, and the chance to work within a collaborative, supportive environment.
The Role:
Join a close-knit, well-established team in a part-time capacity, where you'll take ownership of trust accounting responsibilities across a large commercial portfolio. This role is newly created due to growth (not a backfill), offering great long-term potential.
Key duties include:
- Managing trust accounting for a commercial property portfolio (300+ tenancies)
- Processing the weekly creditor run (every Thursday)
- Handling reconciliations, disbursements, and general trust reporting
- Liaising with internal property managers and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with relevant trust accounting legislation
About You:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in trust accounting within a property environment
- Cirrus8 knowledge is essential – must be able to hit the ground running (no training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a flexible, part-time role with set core days
Role Structure:
- Part-time: Wednesdays and Thursdays are essential; your third day can be either Tuesday or Friday
- School hours are welcomed
- Open to full-time applicants but current workload is best suited to part-time
