Apply for the Merchandise Planning Manager - Witchery role at Country Road Group .
Purpose: Lead and manage the Planning team for Witchery, working with Product Development & Sourcing, Design & Buying teams.
Focus on financial performance (sales, gross profit, stock).
Please note that this is a 12 month contract Key Accountabilities Develop and manage the financial performance according to budget forecast measured by Sales, Gross Profit & Stock Management Effect trading decisions through competitor analysis, product intake to ensure GP is maximised Brief and sign off promotional calendar/advertising in conjunction with Marketing and Design Analyse, recommend and finalise divisional forecasts by providing strategic and corporate viewpoints to determine credible forecasts for current and subsequent seasons Facilitate and drive a weekly assessment of divisional performance & provide strategies on the actions required to maximise opportunities missed Set the range direction in line with company design and financial strategy to meet customer needs alongside Design & Buying Set the selling price for all channels – concession, retail Support with leadership growth plan and development for direct reports, ensuring all team members complete development at all levels Provide leadership across merchandise planning, promoting vision and motivation for the team; ensuring clear communication paths and information flow are developed and executed Drive performance achievement culture focused on developing team members' skills and capability Key Capabilities Strong industry experience – a merch background in apparel preferred, keen aesthetic, affinity with product & brand essential Experience in the lifestyle sector of fashion industry preferred Understanding of general business practices Proven management experience leading and motivating large teams Why work for CRG?
