Overview
Join our team as a Clinical Nurse (Community Health Nursing) for the 2025/2026 Casual Pool intake. The role focuses on delivering high‐quality community‐focused health services across our local health network, including advanced nursing practice in primary healthcare, development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and programs to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced nursing practice in primary healthcare settings.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies and programs for community health outcomes.
* Deliver palliative care to clients and support carers and families during the terminal phase.
* Take ownership of practice standards and delegate tasks effectively.
* Support the growth and development of team members.
Qualifications and Experience
Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, with at least 3 years full‐time equivalent post‐registration experience.
* DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
* National Police Certificate (NPC) required for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
* Immunisation risk Category A and compliance with SA Health Services vaccination policy.
