About Us
We pride ourselves on our hands-on approach and are looking for a Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level or early-career role, ideal for someone with a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a practical, hands-on approach to their work.
You’ll be a key team member involved in the end-to-end delivery of projects, contribute to warehouse operations, and ensure every project is executed flawlessly.
About the Role
As an Operations Assistant, you’ll support the warehouse and installation teams in the preparation, setup, and pack-down of exhibition stands and event activations. You’ll assist with day-to-day operations including packing, loading and onsite support at events across Sydney and occasionally interstate.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Support
- Assist in the packing, organising, and preparation of materials and equipment for upcoming jobs.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse setting.
- Load and unload trucks with care, ensuring equipment is secured properly.
Onsite Installation Support
- Assist the team with the installation and dismantling of exhibition stands and event setups.
- Follow instructions from project managers and team leads to ensure smooth onsite delivery.
- Support with unpacking, assembling structures, and managing tools and materials during bump-in/bump-out.
General Operations
- Help track inventory levels and report when items are running low.
- Support logistics, including packing display items secure for transport.
- Maintain clear communication with team members during fast-paced event periods.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong work ethic with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Basic experience in warehouse, construction, events, or logistics is preferred (but not essential).
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekends during event times.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
- A forklift licence is a plus (or willingness to obtain one).
