Customer Service Consultant
Mercer – Adelaide, South Australia, Australia
The role will be based in our Adelaide – King William office.
This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days in the office.
Provide exceptional customer service and general advice to members regarding their superannuation across the funds we administer.
Build strong relationships of trust with members and internal colleagues.
Achieve KPIs focused on call quality and customer experience.
Work in a rotating roster – Monday to Friday between 7am–8pm (no weekends).
Receive two weeks of paid training at the start of the role.
Employment options: permanent and fixed-term contracts available until July ****.
Requirements
Customer-focused mindset.
Strong conversational skills, including active listening, empathy, respect, and humour.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent written and professional verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with an aptitude to learn and develop (tools and support provided).
Preferred Experience
Experience in superannuation, financial services, or a fast-paced contact centre.
Experience working in a call-centre environment (Entry-level candidates from retail, hospitality, etc., may be considered with training).
