Key Responsibilities
* Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable truck, trailer, automotive, mechanical or electrical parts
* Navigate catalogues, databases, and inventory systems to accurately source and order parts
* Process sales transactions, invoicing, credits and warranty claims with precision
* Communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of product knowledge
* Assist with packing, dispatch and occasional deliveries to support timely order fulfilment
* Maintain showroom presentation, pricing accuracy, and merchandising standards
* Monitor stock levels and support warehouse operations and inventory management
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth branch operations
* Resolve customer enquiries and issues professionally and efficiently
* Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, or strong exposure to automotive, mechanical or electrical parts
* Proven customer service skills with strong verbal and interpersonal communication
* Ability to confidently use cataloguing systems and inventory databases
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and time‐management skills
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
* Analytical thinker with effective problem‐solving skills
* Reliable, professional and team‐focused approach
Preferred Experience
* Background in automotive retail, workshops, or trade‐based environments
* Knowledge of vehicle systems, component compatibility, and parts identification
* Experience with POS systems and order management software
* Exposure to stock control processes and inventory procedures
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment
* LF licence highly regarded
