We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our friendly service team. As a Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-tier maintenance and repair services across a variety of makes and models. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' bikes are safe, reliable, and performing at their peak.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnostics & Repair: Perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and fuel systems.
* Routine Maintenance: Execute scheduled servicing, oil changes, tyre fitting, and brake system overhauls.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough test rides and final inspections to ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Assembly: Set up and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) new motorcycles for the showroom floor.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job using our dealership management system.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a motorcycle technician or mechanic.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in modern diagnostic tools and software. Experience with Honda, Husqvarna & Gas Gas is a plus.
* Certifications: Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology or equivalent and manufacturer-specific certifications are highly preferred.
* Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a clean driving record with a motorcycle endorsement, and your own set of professional tools.
* Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
