The Opportunity/About the Roles
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and passionate Trainer and Assessors in Business and or Hospitality/Cookery to join MiHaven Training in a part-time/full time or casual capacity.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking either a Certificate III in Business or a Certificate III in Hospitality Qualification. You will be working across classroom-based learning and practical workplace environments. You will support students through their learning journey, ensuring training is engaging, compliant, and aligned with industry standards.
As a key member of our training team, you will represent MiHaven Training professionally while working closely with students, employers, and internal stakeholders. You will play an important role in maintaining compliance, supporting continuous improvement, and contributing to positive outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities/Duties
* Deliver high-quality training and assessment in accordance with training package requirements
* Facilitate learning within both classroom-based and practical workplace environments
* Assess student competence using a range of assessment methods in line with ASQA and RTO Standards
* Support and mentor students throughout their learning journey to promote engagement, progression, and completion
* Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, employers, and key stakeholders
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant student records, including attendance, assessment outcomes, and progress notes
* Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities related to training and assessment
* Assist with the development, review, and continuous improvement of learning and assessment resources
* Ensure all training and assessment activities comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements
* Maintain industry currency and professional development relevant to the early childhood education and care industry, and vocational education
* Attend and contribute to team meetings, professional development sessions, and stakeholder meetings as required
* Represent MiHaven Training professionally at all times, maintaining a high standard of personal presentation and conduct
About you
* Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and energetic, with a positive outlook
* Excellent communication and people skills both verbally and written
* High attention to detail and solid computer skills (MS Office)
* Current driver's license
* Current Working with Children - Blue Card
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or equivalent/higher
* VET qualification in the relevant field, backed up with industry experience
* Current vocational currency and ability to maintain professional development as per ASQA requirements
* Ability to contribute to the operations and \"I can make a difference attitude\"
* Minimum of 2 year’s current and relevant industry experience - in the specific vocational areas of training
* Excellent time management and organisational ability
* Passionate about training and love to see students achieve their goals
* Be familiar and able to comply with inter-cultural awareness and have a flexible attitude
* Experience with classroom and face-to-face delivery methods and engagement skills
* Ability to recognise and communicate business development opportunities
