As they continue their global growth journey, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive market expansion in Australia and beyond.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and building long-term client relationships. This is a pure new business role, focused on securing opportunities with organisations operating loading docks and supply chain operations.
You will manage the entire sales cycle, develop scalable processes, and play a key role in laying the foundation for a future sales team. This role suits a highly driven, consultative sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across multiple industries.
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through to executive-level presentations.
Develop and refine CRM processes (Salesforce) to optimise pipeline management and reporting.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets with quarterly commission incentives.
Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to inform go-to-market strategies.
Build the foundation for future sales team growth, with the opportunity to mentor and lead.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven success in B2B sales, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or industrial technology.
Strong understanding of operational environments such as warehouses, docks, or transport hubs.
Demonstrated ability to navigate and close complex, multi-stage sales cycles.
Advanced CRM and pipeline management skills, with Salesforce experience preferred.
Excellent communication, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
Resilience, drive, and energy to excel in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Leadership potential with the ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team.
