This is a full-time Administration/Receptionist role, located in Pialba, Hervey Bay, QLD. As an integral part of the administrative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support across various office functions to ensure the smooth running of the business.
What you'll be doing
1. Providing a warm and professional reception service, including greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members
2. Maintaining and organising electronic and physical filing systems and workflows
3. Scheduling appointments
4. Performing a range of administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, processing of incoming and outgoing mail, and scheduling client work
5. Providing support for team members as required
6. Ensuring office supplies are well-stocked and that the work environment is kept clean and tidy
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role, preferably within a professional office environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager, Xero, and other bookkeeping software desirable but not essential as these will be trained
* A positive, customer-focused attitude and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service
* Knowledge of office procedures and best practices
