About the role and where you will be working:
The Area Home Care Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day duties of Senior Support Workers within our Home Care program. This position also supports the Support Worker and Domestic Assistant team in the absence of the Senior Support Worker.
This role will be one of 3 supporting WA.
This position is in our central office in Rivervale and offers a flexible working arrangement in agreement with the manager.
We'll also be asking you to:
* Line manager for support workers
* Provide guidance and leadership to the support worker team – be the go-to for everyday issues when the Senior is not available
* Respond to SW enquiries re: leave, payroll, training etc
* Management of SW leave – in collaboration with the scheduling interviews and recruitment for SW
* Attend and contribute to support worker team meetings
* Work closely with Scheduling Team Lead to determine utilisation reporting to identify areas of need in a timely manner to support recruiting of SW
* Address low level complaints, incidents, hazards relating to service delivery
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
* Knowledge of and experience in home care service delivery
* Admin and IT capability
* Able to guide and support the support worker team, working collaboratively with them to achieve success
