Painter blasters (brisbane city)

Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Painter/Blasters for multiple upcoming opportunities across BMA sites in Queensland.

Successful applicants will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of industrial painting and blasting tasks across key infrastructure and shutdown scopes.

We have two roles available, one FIFO to Hay Point Terminal, and one DIDO to Goonyella Riverside. Both offer solid pay, outstanding site conditions, and strong potential for ongoing works across future blast & paint scopes.

Current Opportunities Available:

DIDO Goonyella Riverside:

- Start: 12th October | Duration: 3 weeks
- Roster: 4 Days / 4 Nights / 4 Off
- Rate: $64.30/hr flat
- Scope: Mod 1 - Underpan & Screens (Blast & Paint)
- 2 hrs paid travel each way
- Camp Site transport provided

FIFO Hay Point Terminal:

- Mobilising ASAP
- Roster: 5 Days / 5 Nights / 5 Off - 11.5 hr shifts
- Rate: $54.89/hr + penalties + allowances
- Project runs through to mid-November
- FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Sydney
- Paid mob/demob time + induction time

To be considered, you'll need:

- Trade Certificate - Painter/Blaster
- BMA Core Induction
- Standard 11
- High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Working at Heights + Confined Space + Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)
- Current Coal Board Medical (desirable)
- White Card
- Valid C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Full Australian working rights
