About This Opportunity:
This exciting role involves working with a leading international law firm as a Funds Associate in the Cayman Islands.
As part of a prestigious firm, you will have the opportunity to work with top-tier clients from around the world, including hedge fund managers, private equity firms, and corporations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise global clients on structuring, establishing, and operating fund products.
* Review transaction documentation from an Irish law perspective across various structures and jurisdictions.
* Prepare, draft, and negotiate fund documentation and agreements.
* Manage transactions end-to-end with efficiency and precision.
* Engage with domestic and international clients, building strong relationships.
* Participate in business development, promoting the firm and identifying opportunities for new work and cross-selling.
* Collaborate within a team, supervising junior lawyers and sharing knowledge and expertise.
The Ideal Candidate:
* 3-6 years' PQE in investment funds, ideally from a top-tier law firm.
* Strong academic background with exceptional written communication and drafting skills.
* Outstanding technical expertise and a client-focused approach.
* Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues, thriving in a team environment.
* Proven organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward business development.
Requirements:
* Must be a qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of investment funds law.
* Experience working with fund structures, including distressed situation funds, private debt, credit funds, hedge funds, and bespoke structures.
