The Role
We are growing our dynamic Water team in Sydney, and are currently seeking an influential and collaborative director level Water Resources specialist to join the team.
This is a career-defining opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in the continued growth of our water resources-related service offering.
How you'll make a difference
Lead and deliver projects and proposals across the full project lifestyle, including but not limited to flood risk management studies, hydrological and hydraulic modelling studies and flood impact and mitigation assessments.
Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients across a range of sectors.
Help drive the implementation of AECOM's Australia/New Zealand Water Resources Strategy.
You will guide and mentor engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline whilst focusing on technical excellence.
About You

The qualities that help you thrive
A relevant tertiary degree, CPEng and extensive consulting engineering experience in the water resources sector and on major infrastructure projects.
Proven ability to lead complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, using strong commercial acumen and business analysis skills to deliver successful outcomes.
Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modelling (e.g. TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB) and ARR****.
Demonstrated experience in identifying new innovative business development opportunities and turning these into wins.
