Configuration Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of systems and processes to maintain tight configuration control of assets and constantly improve the effectiveness of Product Lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct rapid, right-sized Logistics Support Analyses to identify areas for improvement in supply chain, maintenance (depot and field), and support operations.
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, supply chain and operations teams to integrate logistics considerations into product design and support planning.
* Input to and determine and steward spare parts provisioning lists, publication and training requirements.
* Populate the S-BOM with critical candidate attributes and preparing the loading of the As-Maintained (AM-BOM).
* Monitor the configuration of the As-Maintained Assets (including structuring and executing Physical Configuration Audits) and feed back critical design changes into the engineering design process (using Teamcenter).
* Partner with engineering teams to set LSA and CM requirements and identify improvement opportunities in existing ways of working.
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience in technician roles in similar high-rigor environments (Aerospace, Maritime, Automotive, Medical Devices, Nuclear, etc.).
* Experience with configuration management and product lifecycle management concepts.
* Familiar with distilling LSA fast paced requirements out of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g. MIL-STD-1388, S3000L, GEIA-STD-0007C).
* Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
* Experience with Teamcenter, Confluence & JIRA (advantageous)
* Database skills with SQL queries (advantageous)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable right-sized insights
* Extremely organized and detail-oriented
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills

* Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
