Pacific 2022 Bidco C Pty Limited require an experienced Software Engineer to join their team in Newcastle, NSW. Duties and responsibilities include:
* Collaborating closely with the development team, Product team and UI/UX design specialists to deliver excellent software products in an agile environment;
* Ensuring products are adequately developed, tested and are fit for purpose.
* Aim towards continuous delivery, removing obstacles and identifying potential for delivery, business and process improvements;
* Developing high production, scaleable quality code;
* Developing resilient and secure database architecture that can perform sufficiently fast queries for AI researchers and product owners to retrieve relevant information;
* Comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines including those relating to information security.
To be considered you will need a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification and two years of relevant post qualification employment experience OR at least five years of relevant employment experience. Other key competencies include:
* 6+ years of back-end software engineering experience.
* 3+ years of experience using GoLang to deliver production applications.
* Experience with TDD and latest testing frameworks.
* Experience with building microservices in cloud-based environments such as AWS.
* Excellent knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles.
* Experience in API development (RESTful)
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation.
* Experience in modern relational and non-relational databases (e.g. SQL and Mongo)
