LIVIN is a not-for-profit organisation established to help break the stigma around mental health. Through the development of cutting-edge education programs, apparel and community awareness initiatives, LIVIN are launching a generational change, to unite to help people start LIVIN again. To support their ongoing initiatives, they are looking for an enthusiastic **General Manager **to support the CEO in the management and development of the team and the organisation.
This newly created role will be tasked with translating the organisation's strategy into action. This will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the LIVIN business, and supporting the CEO in providing leadership and guidance to the fabulous LIVIN team. This will require high levels of commercial acumen and business management expertise, as well as outstanding communication and mentoring skills.
**The Position**:
- Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and support to the team in the day-to-day operations of the organisation;
- Mentor, develop and guide team members in the execution of their functional responsibilities, and provide feedback and performance evaluation to ensure opportunities for growth and development;
- Work with internal and external stakeholders as required to deliver the organisational strategy;
- Manage budgets, expenses, project timelines and fundraising planning to optimise revenue and resources;
- Prepare accurate and timely Board reports;
- Review current organisational structure, identify gaps, develop roles, responsibilities and KPIs to ensure high performance and productivity.
**The Person**:
- Formal qualifications in a business, commerce or management related discipline, with a strong track record in a senior management role;
- Experience working within the NFP or Charity sector highly desirable;
- Demonstrated expertise in the leadership and development of teams;
- Sound understanding of financial reports, and the requirements of Board reporting;
- Positive self-starter with superior communication and people management skills;
- Great time management, MS Office and organisational skills.
