Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team and provide non-medical care and support to clients in their homes throughout the community. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve by assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and promoting independence.
Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
* Provide light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up living areas
* Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
* Support clients with medication reminders
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Assist with errands and transportation to appointments as needed (if applicable)
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a PCA, caregiver, or in a related field preferred (but not required)
* A genuine desire to help others and make a difference in their lives
* Ability to work independently and follow care plans
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license ( Transportation is part of the role)
* Must pass background check and meet any state-specific requirements
