Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre:
Seymour Whyte, in a Joint Venture with Vinci Grande Projects and Beca, have been selected by ICON water to embark on the Design and Construct upgrade of the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre (LMWQCC), the ACT’s primary wastewater treatment facility and the largest of its kind in inland Australia. This 4-year project will modernise the plant’s solids handling system while preparing for future growth and potential updates to air emission standards. Located near central Canberra, the project will enhance and support the region’s critical infrastructure.

About the role:
The Site Administrator role supports the delivery team by maintaining accurate costing, environmental, and safety records, while also managing reception, communications, and general site administration.
* Perform daily financial administration tasks including docket entry, invoice processing, and support for end-of-month accruals and cost management systems.
* Assist with subcontractor and self-performed activity tracking, ensuring compliance with standard payment terms and conditions.
* Provide administrative support to Environmental and Safety Managers, including environmental reporting and maintenance of induction and safety records.
* Manage general site administration tasks such as reception duties, office supply ordering, mail handling, meeting coordination, and staff travel arrangements.
* Stay up to date with company policies, compliance requirements, and relevant legislation, applying this knowledge to support efficient project operations.
About you:
* Completed or currently undertaking a Certificate III in Business Administration or similar qualification.
* Experienced in administration and data entry, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced level).
* Effective at organising and prioritising tasks under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the project team.
* Driver’s licence essential.
