About the Opportunity
An established and respected legal practice is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer or Property Lawyer to take the lead of its successful conveyancing team in their Brisbane office.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with strong autonomy, quality work and genuine long-term stability.
You will oversee a busy and well-structured conveyancing practice, managing a team and driving a high standard of client service.
The role combines hands-on conveyancing work with team oversight, process improvement and client relationship management.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, values a supportive team culture, and wants to shape and grow an already thriving practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a small conveyancing team
Manage residential and commercial property transactions from start to finish
Ensure accuracy, compliance and best-practice processes
Act as the key escalation point for staff and clients
Maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, brokers and referrers
Contribute to workflow improvement and operational efficiency
About You
Essential
Experienced Senior Conveyancer or Property Lawyer
Strong capability across Queensland conveyancing
Confident managing files independently
Strong communication and client-service skills
Experience supervising or mentoring others
Proficiency with PEXA and electronic conveyancing systems
Ideal (but not essential)
Exposure to NSW conveyancing
