You'll report to the Store Manager and be fully accountable for the day-to-day management of the deli department.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the store is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for customers, team members, and the community.
**Required skills and qualifications:**
* Previous experience working in fast-paced customer-facing environments
* Direct/indirect leadership experience, with a focus on leading, coaching, and developing your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements
* Maintaining high department standards, including stock monitoring, rotation routines, wastage, shrinkage, and quality control
* Simplifying processes and adhering to strict audit, food safety, and compliance standards
* Fostering a one-team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing
