PurposeAs Client Concierge – Group Reservations, you will be based at our corporate head office in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Working alongside a friendly and passionate team you will take pride in building rapport with clients and ensuring excellent customer service is given when booking group accommodation, and managing all group business from the tentative confirmation stage through to guest check in
Primary Responsibilities
Building effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through friendly customer service
Produce and distribute rooming lists and confirmations as required and maintain regular communication with the client
Maintain a high level of product knowledge across Accor Hotels portfolio
Manage all group reservations within the Accor Hotels systems (Ivvy and SiHOT) as required
Undertake all group reservation tasks such as actioning release backs and loading room lists at an individual property level
Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, whether over the phone, email or face-to-face
Nurture business relationships with key clients and travel agents to encourage loyalty
Skills and Experience
Hold a minimum of 2+ years' experience in a Customer Service environment, ideally with experience within accommodation or travel (Preferable, though not essential).
Excellent customer service skills and phone manner with the ability to instantly establish a strong rapport with clients verbally.
Exceptional attention to detail
Have a friendly and professional manner
Fast and accurate data entry.
Well-developed written and verbal skills.
Display a passion for problem solving skills and a willing approach to work well under pressure
Intermediate; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required
