The Workforce Planning and Development Unit within SMHS provides statewide recruitment support for permanent, fixed term, locum, and agency staff. The role of the Workforce Support Coordinator is to provide recruitment support and assist the Unit to meet its operational and strategic objectives.

Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) delivers care to Tasmanians with mental health conditions.
The Role :
As part of a high performing and collaborative team, the Workforce Support Coordinator will provide highly specialised services for the recruitment of Clinicians, Nurses, Allied Health, and Administrative Staff within Statewide Mental Health Services. The role involves working within legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures, and organising administrative activities within a highly pressurised environment.
Key Responsibilities :
* Knowledge and experience in human resources, especially recruitment
* A positive team player who can collaborate and liaise within and outside the organisation, creating constructive working relationships
* A high level of interpersonal skills and a good communicator, both verbally and in writing
* A self-organiser who can use their own initiative and judgment
* Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in an environment of change
Details of appointment :
Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 2 (two) years.

81,915 to $94,263 per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
