Townsville ASU facility produces liquid nitrogen and oxygen for the North Queensland market. Your responsibilities will include the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant and its associated equipment.
What you will enjoy doing
* Performing regular hands‐on plant operational tasks including plant restarts, instrument calibrations, plant logs and equipment maintenance
* Oversee all work on the site, including co‐ordination of contractors and issuing of permits to work
* Be accountable for site compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality standards
* Planning, performing and supervision of site maintenance activities and cost control for these activities
* Support all activities required to ensure reliability and improvement of the plant
* Due to the 24/7 nature of the ASU operation this role requires flexible working hours and availability for after‐hours on‐call duties
What makes you great
* Trade or Degree Qualification in a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Instrumentation)
* Prior experience in continuous process plant operations
* Strong work ethic and an ability to work at times alone and self‐directed
* Your previous knowledge of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems will be highly regarded
* Strong troubleshooting skills will be highly regarded
