Service Stream is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to drive and deliver the successful commissioning piece of a large-scale battery storage project at Munmorah Power Station NSW.

The successful applicant will apply project management methodologies and processes to develop and manage the project schedule and ensure that proactive action is taken to ensure the project remains on track and within budget.

Key Responsibilities Cost Management·Accountability for Cost Management and control of the project activities by developing project cost management plans and then tracking and reporting against the project budget to work completed.·Ensure that systems and processes are in place to maintain the required documentation and record keeping, facilitating accurate and timely revenue recovery.·Ensure that all project variations are approved and documented to enable revenue recovery whilst meeting project deliverables.·Manage and deliver performance Project based KPI targets and objectives.Service Delivery·Accountable for project planning and delivery of projects in the nominated state or region or actual site.·Perform detailed project planning in developing work breakdown structures, resourcing programs, detailed schedules, cost schedules, risk management plans and project management plans that will enable the project to be delivered in accordance with the programs / clients time, cost and quality criteria·Monitor and track the project plans performance against delivery milestones and take proactive and decisive action to maintain the project delivery to the plan.·Manage the projects scope and address any variations in accordance with the project contract·Provide regular accurate and timely project status reports to the National and Operations Managers and Clients.·Define and manage the project deliverables in accordance with the project quality standards.·Manage the project issues and risks in a proactive manner to avoid unplanned disruption to the project delivery schedule.·Develop strong relationships with the Client Project Managers and will take ownership and respond to any issues raised by the client.·Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate a full understanding of both current and future requirements to achieve overall business objectives. People Management·Display strong leadership and communications skills to provide clear direction and foster a positive project team spirit to motivate all resources to achieve project goals.·Ensure all work practices are compliant to HSEQ standards and all project staff are aware, are trained and understand their obligations for operating a safe workplace.Business improvement·Actively pursue process improvements and productivity initiatives in the provision of project works. ·Maximise resource capacity and utilisation to provide maximum effective throughput of program work activities.
About You ·Electrical Trade qualification (desirable) or Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or similar) ·Experience in project contract and commercial management including experience in estimating costing, planning and working to a budget.·A high level of business and commercial (contractual) acumen backed by a sound ability to interpret, read and manage budgets, financial reports and analyze schedules·Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables and work efficiencies·Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude, always displaying a positive approach to all situations, particularly safety·Effective communicator (written and verbal) & collaborator with all stakeholders·Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results focused·Excellent conflict resolution skills·Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiating and diplomacy skills; actively involves and empowers people to make decisions·Constantly striving to deliver above average outcomes, both individually and for the team
