The role of Protocol Officer is a key position in planning and delivering official engagements and events for the Governor of New South Wales, their spouse, and the Official Secretary.
Key responsibilities include researching engagement opportunities, developing visit programs, preparing event briefing materials, managing guest lists, liaising with senior stakeholders, briefing the Vice Regal party, and occasionally serving as Master of Ceremonies.
This is a fulfilling and varied position that offers purpose, and the opportunity to be part of meaningful engagements.
Occasional regional travel, evening and weekend work will be required.

* A highly organised, detail-oriented professional with a sound understanding of contemporary Australian protocols and their application.
* Proven experience planning and delivering complex events to a high standard.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
