Job Title: Personal Care Worker
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes.
This role involves predominantly overnight sleepovers within the person's home, providing personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance, as well as providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
You will also assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, and support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring. Additionally, you will escort clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities as required.
Your key responsibilities include delivering personal care, providing companionship and emotional support, assisting with domestic duties, supporting clients with medication and health monitoring, and escorting clients to appointments and activities.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (required)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, genuine passion for caring and helping others, and previous experience in aged care, disability support, or home and community care.
The successful applicant will be located in the North Geelong to Lara region and must have flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
