Key Account Manager - Fashion & Retail
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing business relationships with large head office retailers, ensuring seamless account management for all business-related requirements of key clients.
Responsibilities:
* Manage business relationship with large head office retailers
* End to end account management for all business-related requirements of Key Account
* Management of pricing and margin mix
* Working with the allocated key accounts, develop opportunities for everyday product ranges and seasonal ranges
* With feedback from the key accounts, provide clear and concise brief to the brand and creative teams
* Engage with various functions at retailers for smooth business relationships – buyer, planner and logistics
* Analyze sales trends & provide retailer trend report and forecasting to the internal brand and creative teams to assist with range development
* Achieve agreed sales targets by retailer by department by brand
* Strong planning and forecasting skills, along with high level analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Understanding of costs, wholesale and retail price architecture
* Regular review of retail sales performance of products
* Market research and up to date knowledge of retail and categories being managed.
* Ability to manage new business growth opportunities including new category expansion.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to strategically influence stakeholders.
* Sales reporting to internal stakeholders.
* Developing and maintaining ongoing professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 8 to 12 years work experience with a minimum of 5 years in Account Management.
* Previous experience in soft or hardlines merchandise a must.
* Understanding and exposure to Licensed Merchandise a must.
* Highly motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and commercial acumen
* Ability to work independently and in a wider team.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to multitask and problem-solve.
* Excellent hands-on work on Excel and PowerPoint.
* Solid ability to build rapport with key clients and internal stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
* Flexible, positive attitude and proactive nature are a must.
