About You
As an
English Teacher
, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English. The ability to teach Religion, HSIE or another subject area is advantageous
be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator
have a commitment to supporting student learning in a unique and innovative learning environment
demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
demonstrate experience in supporting student wellbeing and middle-level Leadership (if expressing interest in the 2-point Wellbeing role).
You will have attained:
a tertiary qualification in Education
eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Religious Education qualifications (if applicable).
